Jurisdictions with a reduced taxation system

Countries with quite high income taxes combining with tax incentives concerning the income transference and the profit repatriation are included in the group of jurisdictions with a reduced taxation system. Taxes raised in these countries for exporting and repatriating dividends, bank interests, royalty payments and some other forms of income usually are reduced or equal to zero (โ€œ0โ€).

Offshore jurisdictions

Offshore jurisdictions concern small countries and administrative territories, in which in order to raise funds the taxes are considerably reduced or not practised at all.

Offshore jurisdictions general features:
1) Tax exemption. This occurs with a condition that the company is not performing its actions in the territory of the country where it is registered. The income tax in these cases is commuted with an annual fee, which depends on the particular jurisdiction (USD 100 โ€“ 1000 a year) and is not entailed with the income amount.
2) Disengagement of financial reports.
It is not necessary to file the annual financial report (exceptions are Gibraltar and Hong Kong).
3) No currency control.
Offshore companies can freely open a bank account in any currency and in any foreign bank.
4) Confidentiality of information.
The registries are not public so the confidentiality of the company owners is high. Personalities of the owners of an offshore company can not be made public. 5) Preferential offshore company registration process.
Company maintenance in offshore jurisdictions is considerably cheaper than in moderate taxation zones and in the biggest industrial countries.
